EDGE@Work: Teen Volunteer to Career Experience

Real service. Real skills. Real impact.

EDGE@Work, known as the Community Service Program, gives high school students meaningful ways to give back while gaining hands-on experience that builds confidence, responsibility, and career-ready skills. Nearly every day, students can take part in supervised service learning opportunities that support under-resourced individuals and organizations right here in our community.

This program is one of a kind in the area, offering:

  • Coordinated volunteer opportunities
  • Transportation in one of the two the EDGE vans
  • On-site supervision and support by adult staff
  • Skill-building experiences connected to real workplaces

Through service, teens explore potential career paths, develop leadership skills, and learn what it means to show up for others.

Ready to Volunteer?

Community Service Forms are required for every student (separate from teen center registration).
Forms must be submitted before volunteering or riding in the EDGE van.
